Job Description

Veritude is looking to hire a Product Manager at Fidelity Investments, located in Cary, NC.

Fidelity Charitable is looking for an associate to join its team, reporting to the Head of Practice Management. The team is seeking a dynamic individual with an understanding of the financial intermediary marketplace and experience with program, project, and product management to assist in developing solutions to scale and expand the program and further the mission of Fidelity Charitable.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of enhancements to existing programs or the launching of new aspects of the program.  Activities may include deliverables such as project plan development, definition and documentation of product requirements, coordination and synthesizing of advisor qualitative interviews, advisor engagement strategy, outline and development of implementation plan, and internal and external roll-out approach & execution
  • Conduct research, market and competitor analysis, quantitative and qualitative analysis, voice of the customer research, solution definition, and cost / benefit analysis to assist in the development of new program components
  • Perform internal and external outreach to identify relevant and in demand topics to develop additional program development, support resources and education topics. Draft content on topics prioritized.
  • Develop infrastructure and reporting on individual programs to understand adoption and business impact as well as insight into areas of opportunity or risk
  • Work in partnership with the Advanced Planning, Fundraising, Product, Marketing and Analytics teams to manage and develop programs


  • Product Development preferred
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and managing programs
  • Familiarity in developing educational materials in a variety of mediums for external and internal audiences highly desired
  • Previous roles in a blend of product development, project management, and marketing a plus
  • Understanding of and experience with financial intermediaries (including RIA, bank or broker dealer, CPA or T&E advisors and firms), High Net Worth investors, and of internal Fidelity groups including Fidelity Institutional and Personal Investing a plus
  • Understanding of or interest in the philanthropic sector
  • Experience in non profit


  • Strong execution skills, takes initiative, prides on quality and can work fairly independently after initial direction & strategy upfront. Able to dig in & figure things out/make recommendation.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, flexible, & adaptable, environment/function is in a state of change
  • Builds relationships & influences without authority. Much of the work can be cross-functional
  • Solid analytical, strategic thinking, creative problem solving skills.  These include, but are not limited to: ability to analyze and define problems and opportunities, research and collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and tell a compelling story
  • Knowledge of charitable planning, tax and estate planning is a significant plus.
