Job Description

We are looking for a Tableau Developer at Fidelity Investments. This position can be based in Boston, MA, Merrimack, NH or Westlake, TX.

Overview

The Workforce Planning Analyst will report to the Vice President, HR Planning and Operations, generating and automating reporting, visualizations, and predictive analysis to help drive business Strategic Workforce Planning decisions across the organization.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, able to drive projects forward with limited supervision, and will have a strong desire to collaborate closely with the team.  They will have expertise in Tableau, Excel environments and SQL.

Job Responsibilities

•         Development: and compile data from a variety of sources to deliver value-added analysis and visualizations.

•         Work closely with partners across the HR team to understand the Workforce Strategy and provide data to support on-going analysis for workforce planning purposes, including the ability to predict outcomes based on different scenarios.

•         Develop analytics and reporting solutions which may include ad-hoc as well as standardized reporting and interactive dashboards.

•         Keep key stakeholders apprised of project status through direct communication and project documentation

•         Work collaboratively with internal partners to implement analysis and visualizations aimed at increasing Workforce Planning efficiency and quality.

•         Automate and document analytics and dashboards to enable continued leverage throughout the Workforce Planning cycle

Education and Experience

•         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

•         Academic and/or work experience in HR and/or Workforce Planning a plus

  • Strong executive-level skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), data blending and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).  SQL or Python knowledge a plus.
  • Strong consulting and diagnosis skills, asking good questions in order to quickly understand and translate the business need
  • Detailed, creative analytical abilities including predictive analysis.
  • Proven track record for working independently, taking charge of projects and delivering results.
  • Proven ability to provide strong business analysis and reporting solutions.
  • Ability to translate business data into digestible information, including executive-level reports and presentations.
  • Has demonstrated a collaborative style in working across organizations and at all levels.
  • Ability to anticipate and respond to business needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in Agile environment a plus.
