Veritude is hiring for a Talent Acquisition Recruiter in either Boston, MA, Durham, NC, Merrimack,NH, Westlake, TX or Smithfield, RI

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter is responsible for developing relationships within an assigned business unit as well the day to day recruitment, placement and retention of temporary associates. This role also encompasses implementing temporary associate programs to promote retention and relationship building. Understanding of technology disciplines is required.

Position Description

Under the supervision of the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Consultant is self-directed, focusing on results and achieving goals. This person has direct impact on the ability of the client to meet their deliverables by providing high quality, highly specialized, and timely temporary staffing solutions. This individual must build strong relationships and partner with internal support groups including HR, Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, Marketing and Systems. 

The Talent Acquisition Consultant identifies screens, develops, and maintains relationships with active internal and external candidates, as well as passive external candidates for pipelines and select assignments within Fidelity. 

Primary Responsibilities

Sourcing / Interviewing / Retention
 

  • Source, Identify, Develop, and Activate candidates & resumes through internal database searches, Boolean Internet Searches, Contact Lists, Job Boards, Social Networking Sites, and other information sources as appropriate.
  • Appropriately screen candidates based interest level, availability, visa status, salary range, relocation requirements, and basic qualifications.
  • Ensure a positive experience for all candidates beginning with initial contact; Keep active candidates interested by sending mailers or initiating other communications to promote Fidelity and/or specific opportunities.
  • Proactively conduct research and investigate innovative ways to identify new candidates.
  • Function as search leader under each functional recruiting leader's guidance by developing sound understanding of hiring needs and skill sets, position specifications, and search requirements.
  • Leverage available tools and resources to learn about current market intelligence, industry trends, compensation practices, and consultative approaches, as well as, long term branding and hiring for certain geographical markets. 
  • Detail oriented team player with burning passion to contribute to both the recruiting organization and company's reputation & success
  • Capitalize on understanding of current Fidelity need, and knowledge of industry trends, in order to utilize a broad network to source candidates and generate leads and contacts.
  • Perform data mining and proactive, outbound calls to reach and acquire active and passive external candidates. Review resumes and pre-screen candidates.
  • Develop and maintain strong understanding of current employment market perspective and trends.
  • Maintain contact with recent new hires to further build candidate pipelines.


Client Engagement
 

  • Partner with Staffing Consultants to gain business unit knowledge and understand business unit objectives related to roles such as skills, knowledge, experience, and competencies required along with customizing candidate development efforts to those areas needed by hiring managers
  • Work with Talent Acquisition to develop a clear and concise recruitment plan, and to execute against that plan.
  • Ensure accurate updates and integrity of files and systems 
  • Interviews- Schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers, which may involve making travel arrangements, using MS Outlook, email, and phone. Maintain electronic candidate files and book interview space. Manage schedule changes in a timely and efficient manner, with appropriate notification to all parties.


Customer Relationship Management

  • Partner with Staffing Consultants to enhance the relationship management within defined business unit 
  • Partner with internal support groups to strategize solutions to staffing/recruitment challenges to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Partner with client managers to streamline temporary placement process and ensure profitability of placements.
